or the past 3,000 years, Sicily has hosted most of the world’s greatest civilizations -- from the Greeks and the Romans to the Arabs, Byzantines and the Normans. All have left their mark on this magical island.

Now the Sons of Italy, the biggest organization in the United States for men and women of Italian heritage, invites you to explore the treasures of Eastern Sicily, the most ancient part of the island, settled by the Greeks 2,700 years ago.

Your “home” for the week is the Sant Alphio in Giardini Naxos, a four-star hotel and spa near scenic Taormina, Mt. Etna and the beach. From there you will take daily excursions to the region’s marvels in Tindari/Messina; Siracusa; Noto; and Catania – all in the shadow of Mt. Etna, Sicily's tallest peak.

Along with tours by your personal guide, you will have time for shopping and sight-seeing on your own. Breakfasts and dinners feature Sicily’s unique cuisine and wines.

Personal itineraries for travelers who wish to extend their visit can been arranged, subject to availability of hotels, auto rentals and airline passages.

Clubs, lodges and groups can reserve “members only” specific tours. However, all reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis and require a minimum of 25 people.

Questions? Please call 800-777-7432 or email mpisano@unitours.com.

We hope you will join us on an incredible tour of amazing Sicily.
