From $2,399 Per person - The basic eight night package for your WYD Sydney experience is the basic transportation and hotel package for World Youth Day . Here is what is included:

HOTELS: Eight nights hotel in specially selected first class or deluxe hotels. Locations of all Unitours' selected hotels are either suburban or downtown within reasonable proximity to the WYD provided public transportation. The basic hotel package accommodates three or four persons to a room with two or three beds. All hotels have been personally inspected, all are air-conditioned with color TV and direct dial phones and in comfortable and convenient areas of the City.
MEALS : Daily full buffet breakfast at most hotels is included: (NOT Continental breakfast! ) Typical menu: Orange juice, scrambled eggs, hash brown potatoes, bacon, croissant, butter & preserves, Coffee, tea, or milk. Dinner is also provided on the evening following the closing Mass. Typically, the WYD admission package includes dinner beginning Tuesday evening through the closing Mass. Hundreds of high quality exotic and familiar fast food restaurants are in the vicinity of all Unitours' WYD hotels.
UNITOURS CITY HOST/HOSTESSES: Professional Unitours' tour managers will be assigned to each Unitours' hotel. These local professionals will meet your group on arrival in Sydney, escort you during your orientation tour and be available in the lobby of your hotel each morning and evening to assist you in making your plans, finding your catecatical sites and using the Sydney public transportation system.
All costs are quoted in U.S. Dollars and are based on airfare, land rates and rates of exchange in effect January 1, 2006 plus a good faith estimate of projected increases for 2008.

Days 1 & 2 – LOS ANGELES/SYDNEY – Today we depart our home cities to connect with our Transpacific flight to Sydney . We enjoy in-flight movies, dinner and breakfast aloft. As we cross the International Dateline aloft, we arrive in Sydney on Monday morning. |
| Monday, July 14 |
Day 3 – ARRIVE SYDNEY - This morning, we arrive in Sydney Depending upon arrival time, before proceeding to our hotel, enjoy an orientation tour of Sydney, one of the world’s great cities and the gateway to Australia . It is a city with everything; a spectacular harbour, sunny beaches, a major centre of culture and arts, world class sporting activities, a superb climate and friendly, easygoing people. Sydney is home to over 4 million people with about 100 different ethnic groups. This diverse multi-culturism makes its mark on the city’s dining, shopping, entertainment & lifestyle. We see the harbour, Sydney ’s centerpiece, featuring the architectural icon, the Sydney Opera House. Right on the Harbour, the historic Rocks precinct offers a range of shopping, pubs, restaurants & cafes. This afternoon, we check into our hotel to rest and freshen up for dinner on our own this evening. |
| Tuesday July 15 |
DAY 4 – SYDNEY – Following our hot buffet breakfast this morning (In most hotels) we are free to explore on our own using the wonderful Sydney public transportation system, today and throughout the week This afternoon, we attend World Youth Day Opening ceremonies at Olympic Stadium in the north of the city. Return to our hotel for overnight. Meals during WYD are provided by the WYD Committee. |
| Wednesday, July 16 – Friday, July 18 |
Days 5 to 7 – SYDNEY WORLD YOUTH DAY – Depending upon final World Youth Day Programs following full American breakfast at our hotel, we participate each day in appropriate activities and return to the hotel. |
| Saturday, July 19 |
Day 8 – SYDNEY WORLD YOUTH DAY AND VIGIL – Following the World Youth Day activities of today, we return to the hotel. We then make our way to Olympic Park, the site of the World Youth Day Vigil and Closing Mass officiated by His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI. We spend the night at the Vigil site. |
| Sunday, July 20 |
Day 9 – WORLD YOUTH DAY CLOSING – Our World Youth Day celebration comes to a close today with the Holy Father’s Mass. At the conclusion of the event, we return to the hotel for free time plus dinner at our hotel (most hotels) and overnight. |
| Monday, July 21 |
Day 10 - FREE DAY WITH OPTIONS – Today is free for shopping, personal adventure or optional excursions including a wonderful cruise on Sydney Harbor with entertainment and commentary. Overnight at our hotel and dinner is on our own. |
| Tuesday, July 22 |
Day 11 – RETURN – This morning following breakfast, we transfer to the airport for our return flight to Los Angeles and our home city arriving later today with memories of a lifetime. |
