BELOW ARE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHICH
WILL APPEAR ON THE REGISTRATION FLYER PREPARED FOR
YOUR PILGRIMS
TOTAL TOUR PRICE: The
tour price is based on airfare, land rates and rates of
exchange in effect July 1, 2006 plus a good faith estimate
of projected increases for 2008. All rates are subject
to change without prior notice. Should the final rates
or currency exchange go up or down, an adjustment will
be made prior to departure. As all services are contracted
and prepaid on a group basis, no refunds can be granted
for any accommodations, services or events that are not
used. If you deviate from the tour, no consideration can
be given to a refund for unused services. Certain optional
features of this tour are subject to a minimum number of
pilgrims. Should fewer than 45 participate a price adjustment
may be necessary.
PASSPORT AND VISA
REQUIREMENTS: A valid
passport is required. U.S. citizens holding valid passports
require an Australian visa which can be obtained on line
for 20 Australian dollars payable via credit card at www.eta.immi.gov.au.
Citizens of countries other than U.S. -- please contact
the Australian consulate and any other consulates of countries
you will visit to determine visa requirements.
AIR TRANSPORTATION: International flight reservations are being held on behalf
of the group on scheduled IATA carriers and based on
7 day minimum, 30 day maximum fare. Travel is limited
to only one international carrier and no stopovers are
permitted. Tickets must be issued at least 30 days prior
to departure. Any change in return flight, after ticket
is issued, carries a mandatory charge of $200. Once the
tickets are issued, they are NON REFUNDABLE. Additional
non-recoverable airline penalties of up to $100 may be
assessed for cancellations received within 90 days of departure.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: Specially selected
hotels based on double or triple in two or three beds with
private bath. Double and single room supplements will be charged
where requested and available. If you do not have a roommate
and Unitours, Inc. is unable to arrange one, you will be
billed for the single room supplement. All singles are
subject to availability..
MEALS: A hardy full buffet breakfast
is provided daily at most hotels except for the morning
of the Closing Mass. Dinner is provide on Sunday evening
following the closing Mass at most hotels. Other meals are part of the
World Youth Day Pass or on your own.
TIPS AND TAXES: Tips and taxes normally
appearing on hotel and restaurant bills as "service" are
included, as are all government and local taxes on hotels
and meals, tips to airport escorts,
bus drivers and hotel host/hostesses are included.
Departure taxes and fuel surcharges
of approximately $290 per person are not included. One average sized suitcase not exceeding
50 lbs total weight and 62 linear inches (define as height
plus width plus depth) plus a sleeping bag is allowed throughout
the trip.
NOT INCLUDED: Expenses and items not specifically
mentioned in this brochure are NOT covered, including but
not limited to: World Youth Day fees, passport and visa fees, meals not listed
and items of a personal nature such as laundry, mineral
waters, sightseeing or services other than those specifically
mentioned, taxes mentioned above, excess baggage
and insurance, etc.
DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATIONS: All sums will
be applied to the price of the tour.

If reservations are made after previous
payments are due, all such previous payments must be made
with the deposit. Credit cards are not accepted. Funds
for checks returned for any reason must be returned by
overnight mail in the form of a certified check or money
order and must include a $50 return check fee. All payments
become non-refundable as paid. All cancellations must be
in writing to Unitours, Inc. via your tour host.
CHANGE
FEE: All changes not received in writing at least
30 days prior to departure will incur a $35 change fee
per person for each revision.
LAND ARRANGEMENTS: The
tour operator reserves the right to change the itinerary
due to unforeseen emergencies.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Unitours,
Inc., the organizer, and their representatives act only
as agents for the tour members in making arrangements for
hotels, transportation, sightseeing, restaurants or any
other services in connection with the itinerary. They will
exercise reasonable care in making such arrangements, however,
they do not assume any liability whatsoever, for any injury,
damage, loss, accident or delay to person or property because
of any acts of war or terrorism, any act of default of
any hotel, carrier, restaurant, company or person rendering
any of the services included in the tours. The tickets,
coupons, tariffs, rules or contracts currently in use by
any carrier, hotel, restaurant or other contractor rendering
services shall constitute the sole contract between such
contractor and the tour member. Unitours
Inc., or the organizer, accept no responsibility for any
damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes,
machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints,
weather or any other cause beyond their personal control. No carrier shall be
responsible for any act, omission or events during the
time passengers are not on board its own conveyance. The
right is reserved to cancel or change itineraries, or substitute
services without notice and to decline to accept or retain
any passenger at any time. In view of statutory or contractual
limitations that may apply to personal injury or property
damage losses the purchase of accident and baggage insurance
is strongly recommended.
All costs are are quoted in U.S. Dollars based on currency
rates of exchange in affect on January 1, 2006.
