"The locations for mass, the range of sites to visit, and the pace we visited them, brought such spirituality to the pilgrimage. "I was amazed to witness Auschwitz and the human destruction sight of the camp. It was very emotional on how humans can treat and destroy other humans. I loved seeing Sr. St. Faustina's painting; the Black Madona; and Fr. Kolbe’s friar compound. In addition, Prague was amazing. The trip had many amazing points of interest."

"Having mass at Wadowice was special. This was the birthplace of Pope St. John Paul II which made mass very special. It was also interesting to see him as a young man and early family life. The trip was wonderful. Especially liked our tour guide, Marcelina"

"The spiritual aspects of the pilgrimage were very meaningful. The daily Masses, especially those celebrated in the local churches and smaller chapels were particularly special and helped create a deeper sense of prayer, reflection, and connection throughout the journey. "Your U.S. office was very attentive to our needs. I appreciated the detailed technical itinerary that you shared with both Kathy and I, which was very helpful for our daily planning. Our pilgrims were delighted with visiting many of the Churches that we went to, with the highlight being at Our Lady of Czestochowa’s to pray before the icon of the Black Madonna and the visit to the Shrine of the Divine Mercy. Many commented on how much they enjoyed having our own Eucharist together daily on the pilgrimage. I was very happy with having our own bus as well as the bus driver. He did an excellent job, and he had to navigate some smaller streets. He worked with us and was adaptive. I think we covered a lot of ground in our visits to all the major cities. We were able to see a lot. I think it was very important in the months leading up to the trip that you and I were able to adjust the itinerary in the planning and communicate well with each other. I want to express gratitude to Marianna for working so closely with Kathy in the months leading up to the trip. It is important to have a good relationship and Kathy expressed to me on numerous occasions how she was happy with getting answers to our questions. Once again, thank you for all that you and your staff did to assist the Marianist Mission Pilgrimage. "Especially memorable was our visit Wadowice, the home of my Polish Pope St. John Paul ll, and visiting his bedroom, kitchen and especially the Church he attended until he was 19 and went to the Jagiellonian University. I had the pleasure to attend mass with Pope St. John Paul ll 3 yrs. before he went to Heaven. Being of Polish ancestry this was very special."
