“I loved viewing all the churches. I really enjoyed learning about the saints of local areas in Sicily and in Southern Italy. Seeing Father Don Dolindo's church in Naples was very moving as his Surrender Prayer is one of my favorites. Attending mass and seeing the Church of Our Lady of Tears Basilica and Shrine in Syracuse was very moving. The story behind Mary's tears and all those miracles given was very emotional. Our Tour Manager, Mathieu, was exceptional! He was very knowledgeable about the places we toured. His extra knowledge and contacts throughout the trip were welcomed. I especially enjoyed our stop in Scilla. The small town after crossing into Southern Italy was a quaint little town and we all enjoyed the lovely restaurant and meal. Our bus driver, Pierro, was also a God send, as I felt very safe even when driving up some very steep mountains, like Mt. Pellegrino in Palermo. I loved every minute of our trip.”
