We will celebrate Mass at the Carmelite Basilica. After Mass, we enjoy a brief visit of the famous ruins of Pompeii, about which St. Therese remarked, “The traces [Mount Vesuvius] have left upon the ruins of Pompeii are frightening and are a manifestation of God’s power: ‘He looks at the earth and it trembles; he touches the mountains, and they are reduced to smoke.’” We then continue to New Pompeii, where we visit the Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary. We return to Naples for dinner and overnight at our Hotel.

We continue to Montesilvano for dinner and overnight at our hotel.
Today, following an early breakfast we depart for Loreto, the site of the “Holy House”, where the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, was born; where she was saluted by the Angel, and where the eternal Word of God was made Flesh.
